I see an interwoven relationship between our body, mind and our environment. There is no clear inside and outside of our body, the environment permeates into us through our skin. It is impossible to tear apart one aspect of our being and ignore others and it is this intricate relationship makes us individually unique.
In this uniqueness, I find most meaning and joy in working with people. I now see each person before me not just their clothes, their face and their body. I see them with a heart, lungs, guts and bones. I see the story of their lives. I see their whole being.
And this the foundation of my purpose – being truly present to respect, acknowledge and support the whole person in your own journey of return to your own body – through mindful movement, touch and restoring your connection to nature. I am not teaching something new, I am simply guiding you to remember what you have forgotten through a communion with your own body as a resource of health, resilience and recovery that lay within it.
My body is truly a temple – of my thoughts, my history, my future and my potential. And so is yours.
